I've never seen a stock trade in such round number as AMD. Limits and Stops are set at increments of $10. Huge limits and stops. It's hit $60 twice and dumped. Last week it hit $50 a few times and jumped. It just hit $50 and gave back some.

Just a pointless observation.

Question - if Willy really does execute a vapor launch in Q3 (as Scumbria suggested due to first silicon, bugs, etc), won't Athlon own the high end in 2000? I thought I read something earlier saying that the 800-1000MHz PIIIs would launch next week but wouldn't actually be available for a few months. With the temperature problems holding back the PIII 1Gig, doesn't that mean seven months (March-Sept) of huge consumer sales? AMD will probably break through 50% of the retail market, right? I figure 50% will get a lot of attention and hopefully trigger a nice run-up.
