Well, there is substantial regional division, yes, but it is not so threatening of national union outside of the old Confederacy, which is rapidly becoming the New South. Immigration, both legal and illegal, is a problem, but mainly in major coastal cities. I am afraid that you are mistaken. Americans have a rather strong sense of national identity, especially by the third generation (from the point of immigration)......Maybe if you will explain in more detail, I will understand your concerns better..... |
