Junior,

I reckon we will see single digits. Those with forks at the ready will have a more tasty snack o' meat then. (Apologies to Robinson Jeffers)

My reasoning begins with the previously-stated assumption that we are in the beginning leg of a bear market. Yeah, yeah, lots of people are now saying: "Okay wise guy. How do you explain today's market movements?" Well, I dunno. How about a 'counter-trend rally'? I still think we are in for it and subscribe to the theory that you don't fight the fed. But, I make no claims to great expertise.

If, the markets continue in an overall downward trend, stocks like CHTR will fall too. Eight bucks or lower does not seem too far fetched.

I had not considered buying more shares--CHTR for me was highly speculative and I've only got a tiny little bit of money committed. But, after some of the comments here today (no, not the 'let's rename CHTR stuff!!!), I have begun to consider grabbing another glob of the stock. I do believe the company will get past the early development phase with flying colours. CHTR will be a cash machine when the convergence of TV, Radio, Cable, Internet, Telephone, etc. gets underway. The thing I like about CHTR, if I understand the business model correctly, is that it will operate the toll booth on the new information highway into people's homes.

But the stock price may go a lot lower before the loonies start dropping into the toll booth slot in numbers. (Andnow for a little Canada lore: we have a one dollar coin called the 'loonie" because one of the images on it is a loon. We also have a two-dollar coin called, of course, the toonie. No b.s.)

Ciao,
David Todtman
