>>But speaking of IOM's performance this week, I'd have to say it wasn't bad. Consider the news of the week. First, a recall of Jaz disks. Not a catastrophe, but not good news either. Second, a reduction in earnings estimates for this quarter from H&Q, related to the recall. Again, not that big a deal, but hardly good news. Third, another in the continuing series of hatchet-job articles from Herb Greenberg.<<

Nice summary of all the negative stuff IOM weathered this week.

I'd just like to add a contrasting fact: CNBC said good things about the Jaz today. This is unprecedented is it not?

I do seem to recall that that they have mentioned IOM products at various times in the past, but never without the comments, sneers, snickers and winks of, "Oh boy, what a hyped story stock this loser is."

Could this signal a change in attitude towards IOM? They never seemed to miss a chance to kick it before.

Hope I'm not being too sensitive about this on this *ruff ...oops, I mean rough and tumble thread!*

:)
