Thanks. Keep us posted on how Executrade works out. The irony in my case is that I had really scaled back on my trades (3 in the past 2 weeks before the ill-fated one), staying in cash for most of the time. I even wrote down a procedure on the what's and when's for the trading style into which I've evolved. My success ratio on my trades has been around 80% this year. Because what I do is so different from most who post here, I've been reluctant to describe it--1. You all are doing as well or better, 2. It's quite different than most trading described here (eg. RT has more stocks than many mutuals). It entails non-diversified, large (by usual retail standards) ST in/outs on strong cos. I've missed many big moves, but the large stakes in little, what I consider hi-percentage wins, have worked out well for me. It really does take discipline--and a responsive, trustworthy OLB to work through.

SCH also had problems with adequate, timely disclosure. I understand breakdowns, but when they happen there should be customized alerts that describe the nature of the problem, and give trader/investers some reasonable recourse to minimize risk--we are taking plenty of risk on our decision-making abilities in the first place.

I don't NEED to trade. I greatly prefer to take a break and miss what I think is an opportunity, in order to avoid the risk of not being able to get out of a long position when I want to.

I was hesitant to bring all this up. Thanks for letting me Dale. I am going to be doing a lot more than just posting though, because I think trader/investors deserve full, timely disclosure from the OLB's when they are having system problems. DIR even mislead CNET re. the magnitude, nature and length of the problem per the quote attributed to the DIR rep.

BTW, ATCO is looking like it might actually be for real soon. What looks more compelling to me is the extensive article from I Earned It re. Gen Dyn retrofitting ATCO speakers into one of the Aegis ships. Reading the CEO's letters, it looks like ATCO is addressing some of the very technical issues that I had wondered about that make something that looks so compelling conceptually, so difficult to convert into practical use--eg. Adequately high sound pressure levels at the ear, and materials. Good luck with it. I'm all in cash again and out of trading for the time being except in my small IRA account.
