Investment Risk and reward?

Investment is aimed to make money; but business cycles and natural catastrophe, make investment difficult. Investors have to buy and sell at the right time to preserve their winnings. When you buy and sell, the profits are eaten up by income tax. When the timing is wrong you could lose the hard earned money.

Sometime ago, I learned from Wall street specialists and market makers, to watch and consult the companies to have growth plans and provide a steady improvement of stockholders' value. This daily diligence, help to preserve stock value and even increase wealth, if the company execute the plan well.

Some of these companies Tang fund invests are dogs for many years. However, all of them has to have angel on their sides. Then Tang slowly works with the management at arms length, for a long term business plan. Tang is now more experienced and the results began to show.

If you wonder and read some postings on the Silicon Investor boards; you would see the change in writing style and how the company responds. You can invest and then work with bulletin boards and see your investments gain. Every day these companies have to have some one on the watch.
