Yeah, I guess they are sorta purty...

However, I think you are overlooking the sweetest little butter cup of them all.

Being a workin' stiff, I gotta get up pretty early each and every morning.

Every day it's the same routine...
I get up after hitting the snooze alarm 6 or 7 times. (Funny how I've had the same alarm clock for 10 years, yet every morning I have to search and search for that friggin' snooze button...)

Then I feel around the floor with my feet until I locate my slippers, which are never in the same spot as I thought I had left them...(darn slipper elves must get a kick out of watching me.)

I make my way out to the kitchen where my 14 year old dog meets me each morning to give me a big ol' sloppy lick across my face as I let her outside.

With my eyes still half shut as I attempt to block out what appears to be 10,000 watts of high intensity light in my friggin' kitchen. I then flick the switch on the Braun Coffee Maker that my lovely wife so thoughtfully sets up for me each night.

As I listen the sizzle, drip, gurgle, glug sound coming from that wonderous machine, I walk into the living room and put on CNBC.

The thin guy Bob with the neat hair and Liz Clayman are busy rushing through all the busy business stories. (Ever notice how they rush an interview with the guy who writes for that newspaper who obviously looks like a real human being and is actually filled with great information and opinions. They always cut him off saying they are out of time. Then they go to the useless segment of showing the headlines from The USA Today and NY Times?!?! What the F? I can see those damn useless headlines as I walk by the filthy NY newstands...)

Anyhow getting back to my morning...

As the aroma of the coffee begins to help my eyes open wider, I take a sip, and before me is the vision of an angel...
The lovely, delicate, fairy princess from Germany,
SILVIA VHADWA (spelling unsure).

Each morning Cupid shoots a mortar shell though my heart as I get to see my lovely Silvia...

I wait in eager anticipation for each time delayed word coming from her lipstic-free mouth as she tells me about the European Markets.

It always seems that as soon as my heart can take not another second more of this love-overdose, her segment ends to my dismay...

I go back to sipping my hot coffee.
My eyes begin to open a little more and I am ready to face the world!

Thank you my darling Silvia!!!
Thank you Juan Valdez!!!

I then click on the power button to my PC here and begin catchin' up on the latenight fun I missed here on the porch.

Before I know it I'm late for work again.
But at least I have my mental picture of the Lovely Miss Sylvia to keep me company as I fight my way through the rush hour NY traffic...

I'm sure there are millions of you out there that feel the same way as I do.

-JuanVeldezsAss

P.S. Anyone know any songs with the name Silvia in it?
