KLIC dipped below 66 today, at which price I believe it was the buy of the month in the semi equipment sector. Projected earnings for CY2000 are conservatively around $3.50, and for CY2001 are conservatively around $5.00. (Note that KLIC's FY is different from a CY). Price later rebounded over 70... ABN Amro predicts there is a strong possibility of an earnings pre-announcement tomorrow before the open. Normally when analysts go out on a limb like that, it is because they have been tipped off by the company.
