CXIM news after Market:

Criticare Systems Inc. -CSI- Announces the Introduction of the CSI-TC, a Mobile, Wireless Monitoring Station
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2000--CRITICARE SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ-NMS:CXIM) today announced the introduction of the CSI-TC. This new, proprietary system consists of a mobile, wireless central station incorporating up to eight multiple parameter portable monitors, pagers, recorder, printer and battery backup, all integrated into a compact, wheeled enclosure. It allows rapid deployment in any area of an institution or field use, sets up in minutes, and has an on-board transceiver for its 2.4 GHz communication platform. The system includes CSI's patented two-way vital signs transmission and optional event paging.

CSI president, Emil Soika, commented, "The CSI-TC station allows for greater clinical utilization and flexibility. It offers wireless central station coverage in those areas which previously could not justify the investment because of sporadic utilization. This benefits patients, caregivers, and the institution's budget."

The TC station is the first in a new family of integrated wireless monitors under development by CSI. It has all domestic regulatory approvals and is expected to be available for shipment within the next 60 days.

CSI designs, manufactures, and markets cost-effective patient monitoring systems and noninvasive sensors for a wide range of hospitals and alternate health care environments throughout the world
