My rocket e-book pro was waiting for me at home today. I immediately opened it up and prepared to enjoy it. I played with all the features, such as dimming and brightening the screen, changing the print size and moving the text from vertical to horizontal. My 15 year old daughter then came in the room, saw what I was doing, declared it "cool" and took my e-book away to her room. That was o.k. because I needed to read the owner's manual and prepare to download some books!.

Well, my daughter came out of her private sanctum 30 minutes later to show me how to use the dictionary on the e-book and to admire the leather case it comes in. She then handed it over so we could download a book. Well, the fun stopped there. My nearly new Dell Dimension XPS contains only a 25 pin port, and the e-book requires a nine pin access. (The manual explains that some users may need a nine to 25 pin adapter, which I don't have). So, no downloading tonight. Off to the store tomorrow to buy the adapter. The book is cool, but since my very modern PC can't handle the simple port to port hookup, maybe they should send an adapter with the other items.
