G'day Marcos; COMPLICATIONS CAUSED BY NAME CHANGE Like you, I had been trading a small part of my JDX holdings but since the change to trading as ITE I cannot do anything as BMO Investorline will not recognize either symbol. I have tried many times to contact Investorline by phone but that results in endless "elevator music" interspersed with assurances that "the priority of your call is being maintained". - No live people!!! In this morning's printout of my portfolios They have come up with a really mysterious title for my ITE holdings. They still show as JORDEX RES and the symbol is now JRRSF!!!! While I am upset that this situation has prevented me from trading for some small short term profits there are much more serious ramifications. Where a client cannot trade a security he owns because the broker's systems are screwed up he could be exposed to disastrous losses in the event os a major decline in that stock's value. I e-mailed them yesterday evening to vent my frustration and concern but that message is probably in a line-up as long as the telephone queue. Have you (or anyone else?) had similar problems?
