Heinz, My area of specialization is not inventory management, but I have heard that SCM is more important than JIT. I may be wrong. In any case, the point is not about JIT in particular, which may be superceded by some superior technology (what, I do not know). It is about human progress in general, in which I do have a blind faith (what's the point in working, otherwise?). Can you please make up your mind, though, in this regard? -BGR.
