March 17, 2000 Dow Jones Newswires CareInsite, Medical Mgr In Internet Content Pact Dow Jones Newswires ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- CareInsite Inc. (CARI), a unit of Medical Manager Corp. (MMGR), entered an agreement for CareInsite to be Medical Mutual of Ohio's exclusive provider of Internet content and connectivity services. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Friday, CareInsite said it also entered an agreement to buy certain technology assets from the Ohio-based health plan. CareInsite's Internet-based healthcare network will connect physicians and their patients to payers, pharmacy benefit managers, clinical laboratories and pharmacies through Medical Mutual of Ohio. -Michael Squires; Dow Jones Newswires; 201-938-5400
