FWIW, Aram Rubinson, an analyst who contributes to Louis Ruykeyser's newsletter and who has been touting VKNG since it was at 30 still recommends the stock. He has lowered his FY 1997 and 1998 earnings estimates from 88 cents a share to 80 cents and $1.15 to 90 cents, respectively. He issued the forecast before Viking had announced earnings but after it had issued the pre-earnings warning.
