Annual General Meeting of LibertyOne Limited -
Nasdaq major priority
14 March 2000.

LibertyOne today lodged a Notice of Annual General
Meeting with the Australian Stock Exchange,
detailing resolutions to be voted upon by the
Company?s shareholders.

General business items include receipt and
consideration of the Company?s financial statements
for the year ended 31 December 1999, and the
election of Directors appointed since the 1999
Annual General Meeting.

Special business items to be addressed at the
meeting, which will be held in Sydney on 26 April,
include a number of resolutions relating to
LibertyOne?s plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq
National Market.

Shareholders will be asked to approve the
company?s plans to issue up to 100 million ordinary
shares within three months of the date of the
Annual General Meeting.

LibertyOne Chairman, Nicholas Whitlam, said listing
on Nasdaq is now the Company?s major priority,
following the recent resolution of a number of
business and strategic issues.

?At an Extraordinary General Meeting held on
23 December, our shareholders voted to give the
Company a three month period in which to issue up
to 100 million ordinary shares and proceed with a
Nasdaq listing,? Mr Whitlam said.

?Subsequently, LibertyOne has been heavily
involved in finalising a number of business activities
and developments,? he said. ?Apart from
negotiating new agreements with Excite@Home,
uBid Inc. and PrivaSeek Inc., the company has also
prepared its 1999 audited financial accounts in
accordance with US GAAP, and actively
strengthened its Board of Directors.

?As a result of these developments - and additional
business activities the company expects to
complete in the short term - LibertyOne is asking
shareholders for an additional three months,
commencing 26 April, in which to undertake its
Nasdaq listing,? Mr Whitlam said.
