U Mich prelim March consumer sentiment falls to 107.7

NEW YORK, March 17 (Reuters) - The University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment index for March slipped to 107.7 from 111.3 in February, market sources said.

The current conditions component also fell slightly, to a preliminary March reading of 115.7 from a final reading of 116.8 in February.

The consumer expectations index dropped to a preliminary March reading of 102.6 from a final reading of 107.8 in February.
