I think TRPS is in a more viable part of the business than just pure Comb Chem. They have the software to make virtual compound searching possible, and that is one of their big edges. TRPS has favorable mention from Mike Murphy in Wired Mag this month (he says buy at 18 or below).

It is pretty clear than some pharma are happier having their comb chem inside the co...and as AGPH plans to be a complete pharma co, vertically integrated, I see their acquisition of Alanex as a reflection of that. Alanex will continue to do business with others (ICOS for one).
