Intel is reacting to the threat to its margins and has instituted programmes such as Goldarrow, which offers discounts and coop marketing rebates. How is discounting going to alleviate the pressure to Intel's margins?!! All discounting will do is maybe safeguard Intel's market share. This whole discounting thing raises the issue once again....why is Intel discounting if it has a shortage of product? ted
