Good info on RNTK for newcomers.......

For newcomers, here's a site with some good info on RNTK.

RNTK's website has very good info too. The company profile is a must read.

If you're comparing small GTL firms, here's some process efficiency comparison data that's worthwhile to consider.........

I believe these are objective, apples-to-apples comparisons. SYNM data came from SYNM supporters and RNTK data came from RNTK.

These are for situations where a prospective natural gas fed GTL plant is viewed as a black box. Natural gas comes in one end and barrels of GTL products go out the other end. Inside the boxes, the different processes utilize tailgases as appropriate to maximize the process efficiencies. The latter is a complicated story but the key factors from a buyer's standpoint are the gas coming in and the GTL products going out, assuming equal capital and operating expenses.

Thermal efficiency: This is the percent of the incoming natural gas combustion energy content that is still there in the outgoing barrels of GTL products.

SYNM.........49% to 66% depending on plant designs
RNTK...........68%

Carbon efficiency: This is the percent of the incoming natural gas carbon content that is still there in the outgoing barrels of GTL products.

SYNM..........76%
RNTK............over 85%

In both cases, higher percentages are better.

It's my opinion that these efficiency numbers are the foundation for RNTK's excellent prospects.

In summary, RNTK offers......
--- unsurpassed process efficiency via tailgas feedback,
--- widest feedstock diversity,
--- low cost slurry reactor approach,
--- impending TCC/PGS syngas generation availability,
--- spent catalyst disposal ease,
--- "full product slate" licensing strategy, and
--- competition-free niche pursuit approach
