OT -- cars, Houston, etc.

There are plenty of winding roads out here in the Hill Country. I've got a little Fiat Spyder that's a lot of fun on the curves (although it has been a bit expensive to keep running).

I recall coming over a hill once in Switzerland at fairly high speed and encountering a herd of cattle on the road. In England, a similar thing happened but with sheep. It's an experience that stays with you.

Of course, when I lived in Houston, one morning I opened the front door to my house and was greeted by a thousand pound bull. That is also somewhat memorable. <g>
