akom, I see your point. But, what do we do? Just sit here and remain silent? Vote for no one? Where and how will that improve our situation? I realize that, in this day and time, no politician is my friend. Yes, the situation is intolerable but, so far, all you have done is show the problems facing us without offering any sort of solution. Your idea about the web-sites for congressmen sounds good but, once elected, and in the loop of the "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" concept of government, they quite often don't give a tinker's about their constituency. I hate to say it, but, so far, I am inclined to vote for the lesser of the 2 evils. At this time, I will have to vote for Bush. Not because he is more manly than the stump but, because Gore was trained by Clinton, and is getting too good at lying. ~H~ |
