Hi, Earlie. Great note about about your adventures in sailing. I liked your description of the intensity of emotion at the Games -- it must be something incredible! (I can sort of relate ... I sometimes cry just watching the Opening Ceremonies <g>)

Good to hear you still get out with your son. Those Tornados sound like quite the machines alright, although I don't think I'd want to pitchpole one. That's head over heels, right, capsizing in the forward direction? I've done that on skis a few times ... <ng>

Switching gears, er sail plans, I don't know if the following stories from Cnet are news to you, but somehow I doubt they'll do much to change your opinions in either case:

Intel has a hot problem: Some notebooks are
overheating and failing because of processor
packaging problems. The flaw, which first
appeared in Toshiba Satellite 4100 models,
affects certain notebooks containing 400-MHz
Pentium II and Celeron processors.

Dell Computer hopes to repeat its earlier
success in the PC business with a thrust
into the market for the cheaper, specialized
servers that have become a favorite tool of
e-commerce sites.

Thanks again for the great story!
