oh i know.. but I like to trade based on others emotions... if I think that a certain stock lacks "emotional sex appeal".. then I trade on that... at least with IPOs..

how else can one determine how well a new issue will perform in its opening debut... sure you can look at fundamentals... but most these things open up with no real logic about them... so i try to look at whether the stock has enough about it that it might pop on the first few days.. if it doesn't then I move on..

I'm not interested in going LONG on these new issues right now.. maybe i might here in the near future... but I'd rather take a 2pt loss as I did with PSIT and put those funds elsewhere (as I did today with EGRP calls that made me some quick cash.. more than I lost selling PSIT).. I'm a trader at heart.. and it's just too hard for me to leave my money in one place.. probably because i have so little of it.. if I was playing with $25,000 or $50,000 I'd have bought PSIT yesterday and tucked it away for 6months like you are doing..

I think you'll be well rewarded for holding PSIT... best wishes

jim
