Uncle Frank: Welcome to the "One King" in my game. As you know I have a vested interest in preserving JDSU's status as a king.

One comment on whether investing in kings makes any sense at all or it is better to concentrate on gorillas only.

In my search within wireless, the best company I could find was Qualcomm - a gorilla.

In my search within fiberoptics, the best company I could find was Uniphase which became JDS Uniphase - a king.

Since as you know I concentrate in these technologies, buying the best companies I could find in each seemed a good idea to me.

That one was a gorilla and the other a king was not as good as if both had been gorillas - but I couldn't then and can not now find a gorilla in fiberoptics.

So I bought a king.

Best.

PS Your approach of using LEAPS almost 2 years out for JDSU seems very creative and appropriate - for the specific king JDSU - just IMO of course.
