This may be some competition for Terabeam: airfiber.com I believe QCOM has an investment in it. AirFiber, Inc. (AirFiber) is a telecommunications equipment supplier specializing in free space optical communications networks. The company's products are an integration of four distinct technologies -- lasers and optics, mechanical engineering, electronics hardware, and telecommunications software -- and enable carriers to deliver high-speed voice and data services to their customers. AirFiber is based in San Diego, California. Does anyone know more about how these two differ?
