yes, i had multiple accts, they had the same ss# and were cash accounts.

they even closed my position trading account (6 digit acct) which had never flipped an ipo - apparently they are scanning for ss# with multiple accounts. Next I would expect they are looking for the same ss# to have a flipping history-but to get around their policy the flips are in different accounts.

Etrade has been too incompetent thus far to think that people might open many accounts to better their odds for getting ipos -duhh

What makes me most irate is that my 'main' account that has stocks in it (1000s and blocks) was closed w/o me first even receiving a phone call!!!!!

Lawyers - do we have a case?
