If you use NEON as an example, it was $40 the day before they announced an accounting change that would make for a loss between 10 -22 cents for that quarter (august 99 I believe) it then opened at $19 the next day, and went as low as $12.50...

2 to 3 months later it went to $57, touched $88 recently...

actual loss I believe was 19 cents...

this one was more severe...

but, so was the projected loss..

If you go by NEONs experience (new era of networks)...the stockdropped 50% then from there it went down another 35%

so the bottom would be around 15 -18...

but, who can really predict these things.
