re RocketBook buyers
I looked at these gadgets online awhile back, when they first came out, simply as a consumer. It doesn't look like they've changed much, but the selection has gotten a lot better. One of the reasons I'm interested in these is my voracious appetite for reading material. On my last trip, I had two paperbacks, two hardbacks (yes one was the Gorilla Game), and three different magazines. All but one hardback and one paperback were in my briefcase. That -- combined with a laptop, phone, Palm, and all the stupid cords and batteries -- adds up to a lot of weight on my poor shoulders (who has time for lifting weights anymore?).
My question is this: as a consumer, what prompted you to buy the Rocket over the SoftBook? Does one or the other have superior title availability? Better connectivity? More memory? Better battery usage? Personally, I like the look of the SoftBook better. I know I can fill up $20 a month with subscriptions and books, and get the cheaper deal on the SoftBook. Does anyone know of a place to go and touch these things?
