<I am still puzzling over reaction to Clinton/Blair statement>

My understanding is that investors are reevaluating how 'patentable' this genetic info will be. Apparently, companies like cra and hgsi have patented a lot of 'in nature' info, the applicability of which Clinton/Blair have called into question. However, the White House itself has said that the Clinton/Blair statements are *good* for the biotechs, so the sector-wide selloff seems to be just a much-need technical correction, the excuse for which was Clinton/Blair.

<For the B&H type, this seems like a good entry point.>

I have to agree. The fundamentals for the sector and the larger economy are just too bullish to justify further correction, imo. But like you, I was also buying at the 20-day, so have been surprised also by the severity of this selloff.
