No doubt. But a conflict is not here at this point.

Tension will increase between China and Taiwan as a result of the election. Markets discounted only a one in three chance of the election of Shu - bian as opinion polls were banned two weeks before election and election was too close to call at best. Watch Asian markets on Sunday night for reaction. Chip investors are exposed here.
