Hey Blue, 1992 took the family to St Pete, Fla.Spent a week. Best part and main reason to go down was the 500th anniv of Columbus. They had the three replicas of Columbus' ships on display. They were supposed to be as exact as was possible. You could go onto the ships and look around.Never knew they were so small.Showed films in the Tampa convention center of building the ships by hand "The old way". Displays of the navigation tools used back then. It was really neat. They toured the East Coast;but it gave us an excuse to take kiddies out of school and kill a whole bunch of birds at one time.Columbus,Disney,MGM or whatever theme park is near Disney,Bradenton Pgh Pirate Farm/Spring training facilities, and I showed the family how good the old man was at talking himself out of speeding tickets. It's an acquired talent.
