The also said you can have multiple accounts in your SS# and attempt IPOs in each one. If you flip then that account can't get another one for 60 days but there is no restriction by SS# nor would they ever dream of closing accounts without proper cause or justification otherwise they'd open themselves up legally.

so we'll see what happens.. I hope hispeed gets his accounts reopened and is back in business soon!

I dont have multiple accounts just for my health. Many of my family members give me money to invest for them. They all want IPOs.. but some want to trade stocks too. Not all want to flip them. Some want to hold. And if they are happy with how things go they very well may open their own accounts or at least send in more money. As a shareholder of Etrade.. this is EXACTLY what we want. Don't jeapordize our account growth by telling folks they can't have multiple accounts with the same SS# if they are going to flip IPOs. Furthmore, DO NOT close peoples accounts for flipping IPOs. I'll consider this matter settled for myself UNTIL I personally see it happen to others in which case I'll be very dismayed and disgusted that Etrade could do such a thing. In fact, if they do.. I'll be selling my Etrade stock the next day.
