"He foreknows who will accept the truth and who will not. "

That is one of the things that I was trying to pass along Steve. I'll be truthful with you though. As Nancy says, this subject can get complex in a hurry and when I think how "Elect" carried this point to babies who die going to hell it has ruined the subject of predestination for me. I liked to study this area because of the unmerited grace of God to all of us who were born dead in sin.

Paul says, who are we to question how we were made, for good or for evil so that God's will be done.

I have read about some who believe that even though Jesus said we will not be guilty of the Father's sins or the Father of the son's sins. This would seem to indicate that we should not share in the sins of Adam and Eve but they claim that our souls were present at the Fall so we are guilty also. As we all know this can get deep beyond reason so then we see where this is leading so it seems that no one can win on this subject.

I have not changed my mind about predestination because it is so prevailing in the Bible.

This is the reason for all the different denominations. Once we are taught something as a child, it is unchangeable unless we are willing to look at what we were taught and question it. This is what I try to get across about being open minded to new teachings instead of just thinking, "if it was good enough for my parents, it's good enough for me." This is where the search for truth is lost and we are too tied up in Church creeds to realize that we are unteachable. We must stand against this kind of thinking.

God bless us all,
James
