Re: "One question: Why are you so conservative about AMD???"

Comment: At the time of the post, AMD was in the 20's and the Athy naysayers were in full force as Intel had just announced that they were going to flood the market with 733 Mhz's and above and Athy Q3 shipments were only around 200,000 units...Much fact has since surfaced such as the ease of Athy scaling and production which compares exceedingly favourablt with Intel's PWeeIII which is spinning its wheels in the mud at 800 MHz...Once AMD closes above $63 the upper boundary of the 5 year trading range, I'll throw all caution to the wind and be looking for $70 by April 20 and $100 by July 21...Wouldn't even surprize me if I have to revise these estimates upward before long...As I stated earlier, DDBES and Dan3's 1 to 2 year best case scenarios for AMD price is making much much more sense to me today than 3 months ago, given AMD's continuing success in scaling and producing the Athy...No hint of any problems in the foreseeable future...Hope the foregoing addresses your concern about my seeming November conservatism (which couldn't have been considered conservative at the time as the naysayers were convinced we'd see $20 before $30...not unlike today where they think we'll see $40 before $60, if you can believe it!)
