--OT-- EU does not have a supreme court like usa does. This is why the two cases don't compare since US citizens have rights that span all 50 states but Austrian citizens don't. The situation in Austria is very troubling because without an EU supreme court and EU rights for all member citizens that transcend what country you live in, who knows what can happen to you if majority elects fascists or communists.
