Golden Arch has 10% interest

Commonwealth Energy Corp. ("Commonwealth" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that a FRAC treatment was
completed yesterday in the Duffer Formation of the Warren/Thurmond #2 well on the Company's Camp Colorado Prospect in
Texas.
The FRAC designed by the engineer and implemented was 100% successful. The well flowed back through the night and was
shut-in early this morning. The shut-in, build up pressure was measured at 1,205 PSI (pounds per square inch). The well was
then opened and flowed both oil and gas. The quantities of oil and gas will be measured during a 4-point flow test which will
occur over the next few days. These results will be announced.

Commonwealth is very encouraged by this result and as soon as the flow testing is completed, will put the well on production.
All production facilities and equipment are in place and the Pipeline Company has capacity to buy the gas.

Commonwealth plans to drill additional wells on the 2,600 acre Camp Colorado Prospect this year. The two successful wells
drilled to date have proven that this Prospect has multi-zone production potential. The Prospect appears to have room for the
drilling of an additional 10 to 12 wells.

The Company also wishes to announce that a further section in the Caddo Limestone formation of the producing
Warren/Thurmond #1 well was perforated and FRACED. Additional production is anticipated from this well.
