Earlie, there's been some discussion on the rambus thread about memory in the Nintendo Dolphin and the new X-Box.

I found these news releases on NEC/Nintendo which indicates NEC is going with a new technology for Dolphin. Interesting that it's under license with a company called MoSys. Basically they claim SRAM functionality at DRAM densities, and Rambus like data rates. The rumors are that both Nintendo and X-Box will use DDR technology. I think I've seen references this new technology is DDR like. (I assume this implies R/W to one bank on the leading edge and to another on the trailing edge. Does that make any sense?)
Could it be possible that the X-Box will also use this technology.
