Zbyslaw, that's true enough, but the investment community look at the whole company when setting value. For the time being the European core of ALA is a huge drag on stock price, like making a competitor in a marathon carry a bowling ball for the first 5 miles. What are his chances of winning the race? In today's investing environment, only the companies doing well NOW are rewarded. That makes any capital tied up in ALA dead money for at least several years.

I'm hanging on till after the merger is completed in the (probably vain) hope that I'm wrong, but will probably sell most of my ALA shares.
