The PP was for 8% Conv. Deb. to come due in two years. There was an "out" to redeam them before that time. They took the "out" and slamed the stock. That said. I know that there is two parties that signed the PP. Colossal should not have left it in. Select started redeaming as soon as they could. Is it "ethical"? Yes since it way part of the contract. Would I trust them. Don't think so. Would not like to see Starpoint in the same position as Colossal thats all.
