Here are the numbers as provided in an Editorial from the latest Barrons.

By a count provided by Human Genome Sciences, Incyte holds 353 U.S. patents on human genetic structures, Human Genome Sciences has 114 patents, SmithKline Beecham has 60, the U.S. government itself has 49, the University of California has 46 and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston has 45.
