so if you find a potential Gorilla, you money could very well end up being dead money for year.

Gorilla Gaming is a long-term strategy, not one that concentrates on a particular year. The fact of the matter is that you could have worse than dead money for a year. You could have drmatically losing money for a year. It's five-, ten- and fifteen-year periods that this strategy focuses on, not one year.
