What people did in college is of far less importance to me than what they have done in public life since. A lot of decent people do a lot of stupid things in college. I find nothing really wrong with Gore being a bit of a slacker there.

The way in which he is controlled like a puppet by the education establishment unions if far more chilling to me. How any American can pretend that Gore and his cronies have any answers with regard to our education problem is beyond belief. The status quo, protect your job, milk the system, ruin the kids leftists running our public education system are the most dangerous people in America. Sacrificing the minds of our next generation simply to keep power is the worst kind of evil to me. The same people who whine on and on about monopolies being the heart of evil in corporate American, are doing everything to protect the worst monopoly of all. The government school monopoly.

The only thing I can figure is that people who are going vote FOR Al Gore really don't give a hoot about the next generation of children receiving a decent education. As long as no one touches their social security check, or decreases their medicaid/medicare entitlements screw you and your kids!

Talk about being paid shills!!
