Andrew, Please accept my sincere apologies if I implied that you and Radarview would have anything to do with a p&d (re: NSCT). You are the most respectable "stock picker" I know of, hands down. Maybe if I continue to make money (knock on wood, the last three months have been great), I'll someday be in a position to subscribe to your newsletter. As it is, I'm just a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants trader with a day job that allows me to follow the market fairly closely on most days and trade a few thou shares. I came across some hype for NSCT last weekend and since they supposedly have the next great thing in computer chips, I thought you might know all about it. Sure enough, the stock took off on Monday and roller-coastered all week. Up something like 50%, then down 60%, then up 20%...something like that. I don't own any, never have. We were just tossing out ideas for Stock Swap and I thought you might know something about it.
Patrick may have been on the right track with INAP. It does look like it has lots of potential. He exercised that great discipline of his and almost got it cheap.
GMGC is still my big play right now. Their deals with GM (OnStar), Excite and Juno are probably enough to insure their success, but BellSouth looks like it may be in the bag and there is apparently more to come.
Traded ICOM several times this week, but in the end it amounted to two steps forward and two and a half back. I'm unsure of how to judge it just now. Could easily retreat to 7, but might move sharply to 10 or even higher on news of contracts. Have you passed on it for good? Or is it still on the radar screen?
Apologies too for not getting back sooner. Took Friday off to have evaluation exam for LASIK eye surgery. Will have it in three weeks. I'm very excited to get rid of the glasses I've needed since 2nd grade.
