James, Re:"Housing is the only tax write off left" Don't forget interest on margin debt. I know people who pay more margin interest each month than they do on their monthly mortgage payment (priciple and interest)! High margin debt levels and the interest rate/stock market scenario that WT paints could put a significant damper on the construction industry for a while...if the crash were to happen.
