Thanks for the enlightening comments on McCain. I think your right - McCain has damaged Bush. Thank goodness.
Many who would have otherwise voted for Bush will not vote. Others have been able to focus on what a weak man Bush is and will simply vote against him (I fall into this category). These factors in addition to the probability that many Americans will vote to continue the 'good times' will lead to Gore's victory.
