Erik,

Unfortunately I do not have anything more recent than this from First Security Van Kaspar analyst J.D. Froley on 10/7/99:

"Catalytica Combustion Systems: Ongoing Negotiations; Lowering Revenue Expectations for 2000

While Catalytica's installed Xonon combustion at Silicon Valley Power's Gianera Generating Station has accumulated
over 2,000 hours of essentially pollution-free power production, Catalytica management confirmed that its
majority-owned subsidiary, Catalytica Combustion Systems, remains involved in talks for the first commercial sale of its
Xonon combustion system. Importantly, these talks seemed to relate to large-scale power projects that would therefore
involve Xonon combustion systems priced at the higher end of their $50,000 - $1,500,000 average per-unit price
range. Though the company continues to pursue sale contracts for 1 - 5 MW turbines produced by its partners including
Pratt & Whitney Canada and Kawasaki, Catalytica's focus is clearly on the GE Power Systems partnership. While the
sale of the smaller engine systems are key in terms of lead time for Xonon to report sales in 2000, we are lowering our
sales estimate for Xonon in 2000 to reflect the company's focus on the longer lead-time, larger revenue GE systems.
Reducing 2000 estimates by $2.5 million, our adjustment reduces estimated 2000 EPS by $0.01."

I doubt that this helps much but he estimates that the Xonon operation might be worth $6 per share.
