John, from your answer it sounds like the problem I referred to is a deliberate "feature" rather than a bug. I find this odd because SI refreshes the PeopleMarks page when remove a person from it, instead of taking me to the profile of the deleted person. This is inconsistent.

Personally, I would VASTLY prefer that you just get rid of the "remove" link on the SubjectMarks page. This would free up screen real estate to make the page work better. If you are determined to keep "remove" on SubjectMarks,
a pop-up window would be OK. But I think you would be spending time on a nonexistent problem.

Or how about this:

1) Add "Remove" to the column header
2) Replace the "remove" links with check-off boxes
3) Add a "Remove Marked Subjects" button at the bottom.

The little check-off boxes would be smaller than the word "remove", so you would free up a little space.
