Gerald - Re:"After all, if the Constitution was intended to be this extremely flexible document" The Constitution was intended to be flexible or we would still be stuck in a world where the horse was the fastest mode of transportation. The absolute Libertarian view is downright silly. Where does the Constitution say that the government could fund the development of the internet? Well, it did and we are all the better for it.
