No, I do not(to both parts).

Why would you ask that? Do I come across as a quasi PR person?

If I qualify some statement it is to let the reader know what my knowledge is or isn't, and if I am just guessing or whatever.

BTW, I couldn't find that bit about the sol-gel European scientists who left to join LUMM. The web page, I think, has been taken down and it looks to me that this is in its place. This sure looks to me like the spot where I saw that description:

And your statement about lying seems strange. You don't mean that LUMM's counsel would let them lie elsewhere than before the SEC, or do you? I would hope that any decent counsel, most particularly LUMM's, would condemn lying in any situation. One can always say 'no comment' in place of a distracting lie to a question in a sensitive area.

You know I have seen in my short time here on SI and RB a lot of accusations about me and others and the people at LUMM that are flat out wrong and insulting. But what can one do about it. Just say that they're wrong. Not true. And let the insulting bit slide by. Free speech, eh.

I'm always on my guard as to what people say or infer about my character and honesty, and LUMM's too, for that matter. For the second you just let it go unchallenged your reputation suffers, LUMM's credibility suffers and one pays the price. Who will ever believe you again.
