Well that was one heck of a day of trading on Friday and I would think the majority of the volume was from people trying to get in before we go to the TSE. I would like to point out from the news release from Dec 23 the following
pasted from the news release
". The listing is conditional upon filing satisfactory documentation and fulfilling all of the requirements of The TSE on or before March 20, 2000. Upon satisfaction of the conditions after the new-year, the Company will disclose the date it expects to begin trading on The TSE. Ontex is very pleased that it has received conditional approval to trade on Canada's premier capital market. The listing accomplishes one of the short-term goals towards the
Company's objectives for sustainable growth in the mineral industry."
So from reading the above it is not neccesary that the stock trades on the TSE on the 20th but that all proper documentation is filed as of that date. I would expect to begin trading very soon upon satisfactory filing. All indications are that the filings are in order.

I also noticed Fortune Minerals moving up with Ontex. Now this could be purely coincidental or then again, some may be rather confused.
